PyeongChang 2018 Countries - Tajikistan

Tajikistan will make their debut at the Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang.

Tajikistan will participate in Para Nordic Skiing at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympic Games.

Tajikistan has participated at four Summer Paralympics (2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016), and was represented by three athletes in total. Tajikistan is still chasing its first Paralympic medal.

The best rank so far at the Paralympics set by an athlete from Tajikistan is ninth place in the Powerlifting men's 60kg event by Parviz Odinaev at Tajikistan's Paralympic debut at Athens 2004. Eight years later, Odinaev also participated at London 2012 in the Powerlifting 75kg event.

At the last Paralympic Games in Rio in 2016, Tajikistan was represented by Romikhudu Dodikhudoev who finished 14th in both the Athletics men's 100m and 400m T47 event.
