Get involved in Pyha 2019

© • Jani Kärppä / KotaCollective

The World Championships at Pyhä gathers the best Para snowboarders in the world to compete against each other in snowboard-cross, banked slalom and team event. But a week with plenty of side events, Pyhä 2019 is truly a super week of snowboarding. Competitions, freeriding, test centres, work shops, after parties - you name it.

Opening & Closing Ceremonies

Opening and closing ceremonies are held on a stage in the front yard of Carlsberg House. The athletes, officials and spectators are warmly welcomed with performances of local artists and speeches from different representatives. This is where all the fun begins and this is where it ends.

Kaikki Snoukkaa / Funkis adaptive snowboard camp

International camp for five Finnish and five Norwegian adaptive riders with their assistants. The goal is shred together, cheer for the athletes and get together with their idols.

Tie Tähtiin

Tie tähtiin is an event of experimenting adaptive snowboarding, alpine skiing and sledding with instructors. Come up and say hi to the adaptive athlete Matti Suur-Hamari.

The Original Free'kend

Lessons, workshops and competitions: freeriding in all its spectrum. For the first time this legendary freeride gathering will take notice also of the adaptive riders.
