She took up wheelchair basketball at age 10 and was introduced to para-athletics in 2010 in Arizona, United States of America.
Why this sport?
"My mum signed me up for wheelchair basketball. I didn't really think anything of it at the time, just that it was a new activity. After starting wheelchair basketball I was introduced to track and field which I fell in love with."
