·Athens 2004 were Algeria's most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning six golds (S2-B5).

·The NPC made its debut at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

·Algeria is in 45th place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC has been most successful in athletics, claiming 16 gold, 13 silver and 21 bronze medals.

·Athlete Mohammed Allek is Algeria's most successful Paralympian in individual events: G5-B1.

·Athlete Samir Nouioua is the most decorated Algerian athlete in individual events with seven medals (G2-S3-B2). He claimed at least two medals at each of the last three Paralympic Games.

·Nadia Medjmedj is the most decorated Algerian women at the Paralympic Games with three medals in athletics (G1-B2).

·Abdellatif Beka won the men's 800m T13 event in London at age of 18 years and 124 days, becoming the youngest medallist and gold medal winner for Algeria.
