·Burkina Faso has yet to claim its first medal at the Paralympic Summer Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

·Cyclist Kadidia Nikema recorded Burkina Faso's best result at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. She finished in sixth place in the women's time trial.

·The only other participant for the NPC in London was cyclist Lassane Gasbeogo. He finished 10th in both men's road race and time trial H4.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Burkina Faso, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
