·Cyprus has claimed six medals at the Paralympic Games: G2-S3-B1.

·Beijing 2008 were Cyprus' most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning one gold medal (S2-B1).

·The NPC made its debut at the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games.

·Cyprus is in 75th place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC has been most successful in swimming, claiming two golds, one silver and one bronze medal.

·Swimmer Karolina Pelendritou is Cyprus' most successful Paralympian in individual events: G2-S1-B1.

·Pelendritou claimed a medal at the past three Paralympic Games. At Athens 2004 she won gold in the women's 100m breaststroke SB13. In 2008 she won gold in the women's 100m breaststroke SB12 and took bronze in the women's 200m individual medley SM12, while in 2012 she claimed silver in the women's 100m breaststroke SB12.

·The only other medals were claimed by Antonis Aresti. He bagged two silver medals in athletics at Beijing 2008 - in the men's 200m and 400m T46.
