·Faroe Islands has claimed 13 medals at the Paralympic Summer Games: G1-S7-B5.

·Seoul 1988 were Faroe Island's most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning one gold medal (S3-B3).

·The NPC made its debut at the Stoke Mandeville/New York 1984 Paralympic Games.

·Faroe Islands is in 78th place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·Faroe Islands has claimed all of its 13 medals in swimming.

·Swimmer Christina Naess is Faroe Island's most successful Paralympian in individual events: G1-S1.

·Naess won Faroe Island's only gold medal so far in the women's 100m backstroke C3 at the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games. She also claimed silver in the women's 400m freestyle C3-4 at those Games.

·The NPCs most recent medal came at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, as Heidi Andreasen finished third in the women's 400m freestyle S8.

·Andreasen is Faroe Island's most decorated athlete at the Paralympic Games (S3-B2), but failed to win a single gold medal.
