·The NPC made its debut at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games.

·Anita Fordjour has come closest to the medals for Ghana, as she finished seventh in both women's 100m and 200m T53 at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Ghana, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website.
