Morocco at the Rio 2016 Paralympics

·Morocco has claimed 20 medals at the Paralympic Games: G9-S5-B6.

·Beijing 2008 were Morocco's most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning four gold, one silver and two bronze.

·The NPC made its debut at the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games.

·Morocco is in 53rd place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC has been most successful in athletics, claiming nine gold, five silver and five bronze medals. Their only other medal came in

swimming (bronze).

·Athlete Sanaa Benhama is Morocco's most successful Paralympian in individual events: G3-S0-B0.

·El Amin Chentouf in on the IPC's ones-to-watch list for Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. He is the defending Paralympic champion in men's

5000m T12.

·Chentouf won two world titles in the men's marathon (T12 and T11/12) and one each in the men's 5000m and 10,000m T12.
