·Mozambique has yet to claim their first medal at the Paralympic Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

·Two athletes from Mozambique participated at their debut Paralympic Games. Pita Rondao Bulande participated in the men's 200m and 400m T11. He finished respectively

17th and 11th.

·Maria Elisa Muchavo was the other participant. She participated in the women's 100m (17th), 200m (11th) and 400m (9th) T12.

·Edmilsa Governo claimed bronze at the 2015 IPC athletics world championships in the women's 400m T12.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Mozambique, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
