·Pakistan has claimed one medal at the Paralympic Games: S1.

·This only medal was collected by Haider Ali, who came in second in the men's long jump T37/38 at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

·Pakistan made its debut at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

·Pakistan is in joint 103rd place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The Pakistani men's 4x400m relay T42-46 team came close to the medals at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, but finished only fourth. Sixteen-year old Shafique

Muhammad was part of that relay team.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Pakistan, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
