·Panama has claimed eight medals at the Paralympic Games: G3-S4-B1.

·Atlanta 1996 were Panama's most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning two gold medals.

·Panama made its debut at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

·Panama is in 66th place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC has claimed all of its medals in athletics.

·Athlete Said Gomez is Panama's most successful Paralympian in individual events, as he has collected all of their medals.

·Gomez claimed those eight medals in seven different events, only collecting silver in men's 5000m T13 in both 2000 and 2004. That medal in 2004 was Gomez' last, as he

failed to reach the podium in the events he participated in at both Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

·Ernesto Archer (1992), Desiree Aguilar (2004, 2008) and Katerina Taylor Del Rosario (2012) are the only other athletes that have represented Panama at the Paralympic

Games, but they failed to reach top-10 in any event.
