·Romania has claimed three medals at the Paralympic Games: G1-S2.

·London 2012 were Romania's most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning one gold medal and one silver.

·The NPC made its debut at the Heidelberg 1972 Paralympic Games.

·Romania is in joint 86th place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC has won all of its medals in cycling and were all won by Carol Eduard Novak.

·Novak won gold in men's 4km pursuit C4 and claimed silver in men's time trial C4 in London four years ago. His silver medal of 2008 came in men's time trial LC2.

·Since London 2012, Novak has claimed six medals at the World Championships: G2-S3-B1. His two world titles in this period came in 2013 in men's road race and time trial

C4.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Romania, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
