·Sierra Leone has yet to claim a medal at the Paralympic Summer Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the Atlanta 1996 Paralympic Games.

·Mohamed Kamara was Sierra Leone's only participant at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. He finished 17th in men's 100m T46.

·Kelly Marah was Sierra Leone's first participant at the Paralympic Games, as he competed in 1996. His highest finish was a sixth place in the men's javelin throw F34/37.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Sierra Leone, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
