·Tanzania has yet to win its first medal at the Paralympic Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

·Zaharani Selemani Mwenemti was Tanzania's only athlete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. He finished 15th in the men's discus throw F57-58 and 16th in the men's

shot put F57-58.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Tanzania, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
