·The NPC made its debut at the Heidelberg 1972 Paralympic Games.

·At the London 2012 Paralympic Games runner David Emong came close to claiming a medal, as he finished fourth in the men's 1500m T46.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Uganda, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
