Snowboard-cross and banked slalom

Returning to Big White for the third season in a row, the IPC Snowboard World Cup circuit will roll into Canada for three separate snowboard-cross and banked slalom competitions.

The TELUS Park can be adapted to create World Cup conditions for riders and the resort covers a total area of 7,355 acres.

Having won a bronze medal in the men’s snowboard-cross SB-LL2 at the IPC Snowboard World Championships in La Molina, Spain, in 2014-15, home athlete Alex Massie will look to build on his exceptional performance.

On the women’s side, Michelle Salt just missed out on a medal at the Worlds and will be looking to improve in the women’s SB-LL2.
