Snowboard - 2015-16 World Cup - Trentino

Trentino, Italy, 15 and 16 March 2016

Snowboard-cross

Trentino Alto Adige is situated in the very north of Italy bordering Austria and Switzerland, and is best known for the beauty of its peaks.

Its territory stretches from the Adamello-Brenta range and the peaks of Ortles and Cevedale to the most striking mountains in Europe: the Dolomites of the Fassa Valley, Brenta, the Gardena and Fiemme Valleys and Pale di San Martino.

Hundreds of miles of ski slopes make this region a cutting-edge tourist destination, and Trentino will host the penultimate World Cup in snowboard-cross ahead of the Finals.

With a growing number of exceptional snowboarders coming from Italy, such as men’s snowboard-cross upper-limb impaired world champion Manuel Pozzerle and silver medallist Roberto Cavicchi, the country is quickly becoming one of the world leaders in para-snowboard.
