2014 IPC Athletics Grand Prix

The 2014 IPC Athletics Grand Prix followed the hugely successful 2013 Grand Prix, which saw a total of 1,037 athletes from 69 countries set a total of 10 world records as they prepared for the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships in July.

The 2014 IPC Athletics European Championships in Swansea, Wales, attracted 600 athletes from 40 countries.

2014’s calendar featured nine Grand Prix in five regions, including two new events in Nottwil, Switzerland, and Tunis, Tunisia, as the sport expands into Africa.

Beginning in February in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the series climaxed in late August with the IPC Athletics Grand Prix Finals which, like in 2013, brought together the best performing athletes from around the world in Birmingham, Great Britain.
