Sports Federations have the obligation to organize classifier courses to improve the standard and consistency of classification of classifiers, and to ensure that the knowledge and expertise of classifiers are kept ‘up to date’.

In many cases (part of) these courses are open for any individual that wants to learn more about classification in a particular sport.

These initiatives are announced through the respective Sport websites. You can also send your expression of interest to classification@paralympic.org. We will pass it on to the person in charge in the respective sport.
