Application for Competition Approval 2013

IPC Swimming has set in place an approved Swimming Calendar of Events.

All applications for competition approval must be fully completed and submitted to IPC Swimming at least 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the competition for the application to be considered. If IPC Swimming officials (classifiers and/or technical officials) are requested the application has to be submitted by 30 September 2012.

Only record applications submitted from approved competitions will be eligible for swimmers’ record performance times to be considered for ratification for world/regional records. Only times of licenced athletes will be considered for records and inclusion into the IPC Swimming rankings. Results are expected to be sent to IPC Swimming within 15 days after the competition as usual meet manager printouts/official results and in the format below.

Application Form for World/Regional Records

All record applications must be notified to IPC Swimming within 15 days of the record setting performance and the original application form must be submitted to IPC together with an official result sheet, the electronic timing slip (printout from Automatic Officiating Equipment) or *In the case of hand held timing the individual timing slips of the three (3) timekeepers.
