Great Britain’s World Champion archer Danielle Brown has made it to the final of the Compound Bow Class Open Women at the 2011 Para-Archery World Ranking Event in Nymburk, Czech Republic.
In Wednesday’s final (17 August 2011) she will be up against her teammate Sarah Beamish.
Great Britain also has representatives in four other finals.
Murray Elliot will face Germany’s Matthias Alpers in the Recurve Bow Class Standing Men’s final and Kate Murray will go up against the Czech Republic’s Markéta Sidkova in the Recurve Bow Class W2 Women’s final.
The Compound Bow Class W1 Men’s final will see a tough contest between John Cavanagh, who won silver at the Beijing 2008 Paralympics, and the Czech Republic’s Beijing 2008 Paralympic gold-medallist David Drahoninsky .
In the Compound Bow Class Open Men’s final Eric Thomas will face Switzerland’s world champion Philippe Horner.
In the Recurve Bow Class W2 Men’s final Switzerland’s Christian Wyss will face Poland’s Piotr Sawicki.
The Netherlands’ Eliane Salden-Otten and Poland’s Milena Olszewska will go head-to-head in the final of the Recurve Bow Class Standing for Women.
