CPISRA declares support for Alan Dickson as IPC President

As the IPC has clear rules governing its election procedures further information will only be made available at the appropriate time.

The Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CPISRA) is pleased to announce that it will be nominating Alan Dickson from Great Britain for the position of President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) at the elections that will take place during its General Assembly in Athens, Greece in November.

CPISRA is a founding member of the IPC and has been responsible for the development of sport for those with Cerebral Palsy worldwide.

Dickson, a former President of CPISRA is currently a member of the IPC's Governing Board and has been since 2005.

Since that time he has also been the Chair of the IPC's Legal and Ethics Committee.

As the IPC has clear rules governing its election procedures further information will only be made available at the appropriate time.
