Eugene Nsabayezu elected Burundi NPC President

Eugene Nsabayezu has been elected as the new President of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Burundi following the NPC’s General Assembly on 25 March in Bujumbura.
Nsabayezu, who contracted polio at four years old, worked for the Federation of Associations of Persons with Disabilities of Burundi, and also served as a legal representative for one of the Federation’s members.
The newly elected President will be joined by three other members who were elected on the board: Vianney Kirajagaraye as Vice President, Lievin Macumi as Secretary General and Boniface Bizimana as treasurer.
Additionally, Chantal Ndayongeje was approved as Deputy Secretary General, Marie Goreth Kanyange as Vice Treasurer and Claude Nimubona as legal advisor.
