The first morning was spent looking into the direction of the sport for the future and various topics surrounding the sport at present. Other discussions were held throughout the next two days, which evaluated how to grow the sport, different challenges to participation, the role of sport science and potential future research.

The afternoon focused on junior and quad specific practises with presentations from Great Britain’s Stuart Wilkinson, Nigeria’s Frank Tarmena and Argentina’s Fernando San Martin.

World No. 4 singles player Gustavo Fernandez of Argentina assisted in practical demonstrations during the workshop and joined in the practical attempt of playing with hand taping.

The first day concluded with the Suzie Dyrbus from the ITF giving presentations on player pathways with case studies of junior to adult transitions and the ITF Play and Stay campaign.

The second day was spent on practical drills and coaching in a developmental setting, as well as elite training drills, practical mobility and serve and return exercises.
