World ParaVolley President Barry Couzner recently signed a contract in Sydney, Australia, with Blue Mountains Natural Spring Water. The deal will provide 20,000 bottles of water for the athletes and officials at the 2016 World ParaVolley Intercontinental, held 17-23 March in Hangzhou City, China.

This is the first time that World ParaVolley has been able to support a Local Organising Committee in such a way.

The competition will be the final opportunity for one male and one female team to qualify for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and will also give teams already qualified to get in some competition ahead of the Games. The last Intercontinental, held in Egypt, had 19 teams participating. This year, a record 32 teams are registered for the event so far.

The teams registered as of 10 January are:

Men

Women
