After
winning the Euro Cup in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003, placing second in the Euro
Cup in 1998, 1999 and 2004 and in the World Cup in 2003, Spid Sarajevo is one of
the most successful Sitting Volleyball teams in the world.
The team of Spid Sarajevo is a mixture of
older, experienced and young, powerful players. Some of the 12 Spid Sarajevo
athletes are also members of the National team of Bosnia-Herzegovina. At the
International Paralympic Day 2005, held in Bonn, Germany, the team presented
excellent sport defeating the German team of Bayer 04 Leverkusen in a thrilling
match 2:1.
