The Americans, who are the defending champions, beat Czechia 3-1 while the hosts overcome China 2-1 to book their seventh consecutive gold-medal game at the A-Pool Worlds while the losing semi-finalists will play the bronze medal game

The Slovakians overcome Italy while the Koreans beat Japan in the qualifying round and will play the fifth-place game in the A-Pool Worlds. The losing sides were relegated to B-Pool.

The USA, who remain undefeated to top Group A, will face Group B runner-up Czechia, while Canada, who stay undefeated to top Group B, will take on Group A runner-up China in the semi-finals at WinSport Arena.
