Olsson victorious on debut, Vergeer seals 11th crown and Wagner takes Quads title at NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters 2008

World No 6 Stefan Olsson (SWE) beat reigning champion Robin Ammerlaan (NED) to win the NEC Masters men's singles title in Amsterdam on Sunday on his debut in the prestigious year-end event. The 21-year-old Swede becomes the youngest winner of the men's singles titles at the NEC Masters.

Russia takes European Junior Sitting Volleyball Championships for men

Russia defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina by three sets to two to win the 2008 Sitting Volleyball European Junior Championships in Leverkusen, Germany. The Russian team took the final set 15:11 to win a close fought final after Bosnia and Herzegovina came back twice from a set down to take the game to the final set.

Junior Men’s Sitting Volleyball European Championships 2008 set to begin in Germany

Athletes are gathering in Leverkusen, Germany, for the 2008 European Championships in Sitting Volleyball for junior male athletes. Matches start tomorrow (Thursday 30th October) and run until Saturday November 1st.
