ATHENS 2004 PARALYMPIC MEDALS

The medals given out to athletes at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games showed a relief engraving of the Parthenon atop the Acropolis. Above it, the words “12th Paralympic Games Athens 2004” are written in the Greek alphabet.

On the reverse, the logo of the Games – a stylised engraving of a head in profile – can be seen above the words “Athens 2004 Paralympic Games”, which are themselves positioned above the three Tae-Geuks as well as the words “Athens 2004” written in Braille.
