Paris welcomed the crème de la crème of Para athletics during three days of competition at Charléty Stadium during the 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
Dutch star Fleur Jong reaffirmed her dominance by breaking her own world record in the women’s 100m T62, clocking 12.31 seconds – 0.04 faster than her previous mark set last year in the Netherlands.

Local favourite Timothée Adolphe delivered a strong performance, achieving season-best times to win both the men’s 100m T11 (11.30) and 400m T11 (52.00), the latter ahead of Venezuela’s Enderson Santos, who had bested him for gold at Paris 2024.

Argentina’s Paralympic champion Brian Impellizzeri also impressed with a season-best 6.38m in the men’s long jump T37.

Returning to the French capital, Canada’s Greg Stewart, a Paris 2024 gold medallist, dominated the men’s shot put F46. He secured victory with a season-best throw of 16.23m on his sixth and final attempt.

Two world records were set in the 400m T72 races: Italy’s Carlo Calgani won the men’s race in 59.43, while Poland’s Magdalena Andruszkiewicz triumphed in the women’s event with a world-record time of 1:13.32. Both athletes also claimed victories in the 100m T72 events.

Ireland’s Lana Sutton delivered a standout performance, defeating two-time Paralympic champion Sophie Hahn (GBR) to win the women’s 100m T38 in a personal best of 12.88.

Paralympic champion Luca Ekler (T38) won her signature event, the women’s long jump, with a leap of 5.23m on her third attempt. She also claimed gold in the women’s 200m T37-T38.

Gloria Agblemagnon, a Paris 2024 medallist, brought glory to the host nation by winning the women’s shot put F20.

Tunisian Para athletics legend Raoua Tlili (F41) added to her illustrious medal collection with victories in both the shot put F40-F41 (9.54m) and discus F40-F41 (34.36m).

Mexico’s Gloria Zarza (F54), another Paris 2024 champion, secured gold in the women’s shot put with a throw of 7.72m.
