One Month to go Until 2011 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships

Athletes, spectators and media representatives are gearing up for the 2011 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships which will be held in Roskilde, Denmark, in September 2011.

The event, which promises four days of racing at the highest level, opens on Wednesday 7 September, with the first race on Thursday 8 September.

The 15 km long route will be extremely challenging for the 400 athletes taking part – most will be hoping to qualify for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

Para-Cycling will be one the 20 sports featured at the London 2012 Paralympic Games and events will take place at the Brands Hatch racing circuit.
