British Open Para-Table Tennis Championships to Begin

More than 300 athletes from 42 different countries will compete in the British Open Para-Table Tennis Championships, which run Wednesday through Saturday (September 14-17).

During the four days of competition held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield, Great Britain, athletes will have the chance to earn points toward qualification for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The first two days of competition will consist of the singles events, with the team events taking place the final two days. All matches will be played to the best of five sets.
