Canada sitting volleyball national team selection camp to take place

Volleyball Canada is holding its annual men’s and women’s sitting volleyball national team selection camp at Defi Sportif in Montreal, from 29 April to 3 May 2015. This camp is open to all male and female Canadian citizens with a classifiable physical impairment who are interested in representing Canada in sitting volleyball at the international level.

As this is a high performance programme competing internationally, physically impaired athletes with a strong athletic background are preferred. Athletes are not required to have extensive volleyball experience, although an understanding of the game is recommended.

Volleyball Canada’ s sitting volleyball coaches and staff will be selecting one men’s team and one women’s team to represent Canada through the 2015-2016 season which includes August’s Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games in Canada.
