Launched in 2017, the Para Swimming World Series is an annual series of elite Para swimming competitions which brings together the world’s best athletes.

In 2023, the Series were designed in a new format, with more events and Citi as the exclusive title partner.

All athletes' results at each Citi Para Swimming World Series edition are calculated using a standardised World Para Swimming points system via an online virtual competition platform.

This ensures that the overall Citi Para Swimming World Series winner will be the best performing athlete over the duration of the series, meaning that every performance counts.

The Citi Para Swimming World Series awards every year the best Overall Female and Male Athletes, the best High-Support Needs (classes S/SB 1-3) Female and Male Athletes, the best Female and Male Junior Athletes and the best National Paralympic Committee (NPC).
