Deloitte Ride Across Britain Underway

The Deloitte Ride Across Britain is currently having athletes ride all around Britain for the experience of a lifetime.

Taking place through 20 June, the ride begins in John O’Groats, Scotland, and ends at Land’s End. There is the option of riding solo, entering as a relay team with a support vehicle or choosing a bike buddy which makes the journey more flexible.

Charity Partner for the Deloitte Ride Across Britain event is ParalympicsGB, which supports British athletes with a disability through the Paralympic Games. And with 2012 just over two years away, the support through the Ride Across Britain ensures that athletes receive the best possible preparations and promotion to compete and win.

A total of 650 people have entered the nine-day journey, with three staff members from the ParalympicsGB office, including Tanya Crook, Duncan Tunbridge and Nick Heyworth.
