The Championships will take place at K2 Crawley in Great Britain from 18-20 November, and it will be the biggest test for most athletes prior to the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The British team will be led by World Champion and IBSA World Games gold medalist Ben Quilter, who will look to add a European title in the -60kg category to his international success.

Young brothers Marc and Daniel Powell will compete in the -73kg and -81kg divisions, respectively.

Fellow brothers Sam and Joe Ingram were also both selected for the event, but Joe had to pull out due to an injury.

Sam, a bronze medalist at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games and a two-time World Championship runner-up, will seek gold in the -90kg category.

Five-time Paralympian Ian Rose will continue his comeback on the judoka scene in the +100kg category, while IBSA World Games silver medalist Lesley Reid will bid for her first European medal.
