ITU World Para Triathlon Events

The month’s first race will take place in Strathclyde Park on Sunday (5 June) as part of the Strathclyde Multi sports Festival.

 

Besancon, France, will stage the second ITU World Para Triathlon Event on 19 June. Visit the event website.

 

IPC Athletics European Championships, Grosseto, Italy

The biggest ever single sport regional Championships will attract 600 athletes from 36 countries competing in 171 medal events between 10-16 June. Rio 2016 qualification is also up for grabs. Watch the action live here.

 

World Rowing Cup III

Poznan, Poland, will stage this event from 17-19 June, at Lake Malta. The ASW1x, ASM1x, TAMix2x, LTAMix2x, LTAMix4+ categories will be contested.

 

Roland Garros

The year’s second wheelchair tennis Grand Slam will bring together the world’s best players in Paris, France, between 2-4 June. Check full schedule and results.

 

BNP Paribas French Open

After Roland Garros, the world’s best players will remain in Paris to participate in the fourth leg of the ITF Super Series, from 21-26 June.

 

Czech Target

This Rio 2016 Para archery qualification tournament will be held in Nove Mesto nad Metuji, Czech Republic from 11-20 June.

 

Pan American Para Taekwondo Championships

This event’s fourth edition is open to athletes from around the world and will be held in Queretaro, Mexico, on 12 June.

 

Canada Cup

The world’s five best wheelchair rugby teams - Canada, USA, Japan, Australia and Great Britain - will be joined by Switzerland in the Canada Cup from 24-26 June. Visit the event website.

 

Visually Impaired Judo Grand Prix

Top competitors from 19 countries will gather in Walsall, Great Britain, to compete at the visually impaired Grand Prix between 4-5 June.

 

China Open

Beijing, China, will host the Para table tennis event, where top local players will be joined by competitors from 13 different countries. Find more information at ITTF.

 

Romania International Para Table Tennis Championships

Men’s and women’s singles and team events will be contested at this event between 19-25 June in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

 

BISFed 2016 World Open

Between 13-19 June, Povoa, Portugal, will stage this boccia preparation event for Rio 2016.

 

International Tournament

The Netherlands will host this football 7-a-side event from 18-26 June, in preparation for September’s Paralympic Games.

 

Irish Para-Badminton International 2016

Dublin, Ireland, will host the event between 21-26 June. Visit the event webpage.

 

1st Ankara International Goalball Tournament

The event will take place in the Turkish capital from 1-7 June and will be followed by a training camp. For more information, visit IBSA.

 

International Trophy of Barcelona

The Catalan Sports Federation of Cerebral Palsy celebrates this football 7-a-side event for the 11th time between 9-12 June.
