Para ice hockey has been part of the Paralympic Winter Games since Lillehammer 1994. Four nations have won gold in the sport, which has been dominated by the United States this century. Team USA claimed their fifth consecutive and sixth overall title at Milano Cortina 2026.

Three other teams that competed at the 2026 Games have won at least one Paralympic medal: Canada, China and Japan.
