The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has updated the entries for the 2016 UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters, following withdrawals from the Netherlands’ Rio 2016 Paralympic doubles duo of Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot.

The prestigious event will be held for the fourth successive year at the Marguerite Tennis Paviliion in Mission Viejo, California, USA, from 2-6 November.

After Griffioen and van Koot won the women's doubles in 2015, a new partnership will become women's doubles champions.

A combination of the Netherlands’ Rio 2016 silver medallist Diede de Groot and British bronze medallist Lucy Shuker now top the entries for the women's doubles.

Colombia’s Angelica Bernal and Chile’s Francisca Mardobes will replace Griffioen and Van Koot.

Italy’s Massimiliano Banci and Silviu Culea will replace another all-Dutch pairing, Tom Egberink and Maikel Scheffers, in the field for the men's doubles.

France’s Rio 2016 Paralympic gold medallists Stephane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer head the entries for the men's doubles. Defending champions Michael Jeremiasz of France and Gordon Reid of Great Britain are expected to challenge Houdet and Peifer.

The USA’s Rio 2016 silver medallists and three-time Paralympic champions Nick Taylor and David Wagner lead the entries for the quad doubles.

The top eight men's doubles pairings, the top six women's doubles pairings and the top four quad doubles pairings are based on combined doubles rankings at the ranking cut-off date of 26 September; and they make up the field for the year-end Championship for the world's leading wheelchair doubles players.

The complete entries for the 2016 UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters can be found on the ITF’s website.
