Brazil stage swimming event in honour of Daniel Dias

The Paulista Aquatic Federation hosted a swimming event for 77 swimmers in Sao Caetano do Sul on 20 May to honour Brazilian Paralympic star Daniel Dias.

Some of the country’s best swimmers, including Paralympic medallists Andre Brasil, Phelipe Rodrigues, Edenia Garcia and Italo Gomes took part in the event.

Two editions of this event will take place every year, one during the summer and another in the winter. The 2017’s summer edition will take place at the Brazilian Training Paralympic Centre in Sao Paulo, between 25-26 November.
