Day 4 at Shooting World Championships

Sweden’s Jonas Jacobsson has taken the top position in the men’s 50m Free Rifle 3x40 event today at the 2010 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Shooting World Championships.

With a result of 1,261.9, Jakobsson was more than 15 points ahead of China’s Chao Dong who finished in second position at 1,244.9. Coming in third and fourth place were Israel’s Doron Shaziri and Australia’s Ashley Philip Adams respectively. Fifth place went to Abdulla Sultan Alaryani from the United Arab Emirates, who was less than two points behind Adams.

The 2010 IPC Shooting World Championships continue through 24 July in Zagreb, Croatia. A total of 246 athletes from 43 countries compete in 31 medal events, including 17 individual and 14 team events.
