Day Two of Shooting at 2010 Asian Para Games Concludes

A total three gold medals were awarded in shooting on the second day of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Para Games at the Aoti Shooting Range.

The first shooting event of the day saw China’s Lin Haiyan win the gold medal in P2-SH1 Women’s 10m Air Pistol with a result of 474.0. Silver and Bronze went to the Iranian pair of Sareh Javanmardidodmani and Alieh Mahmoudikordkheili.

In the P1-SH1 Men’s 10m Air Pistol, Ru Decheng of China fired his way to gold with a result of 661.8. Bordin Sornsriwichai of Thailand and Lee Ju Hee of Korea picked up silver and bronze respectively.

The final shooting gold of the day went to Park Yeongiun of Korea in the R7-SH1 Men’s 50m Free Rifle 3x40. His score of 1246.8 beat Gou Dingchao and Dong Chao, both of China, into silver and bronze.

On Wednesday (15 December) two more Shooting gold medals will be awarded in the R3-SH1 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone and the R5-SH2 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone events.
