"Our new website will provide our members with a fantastic new resource, and the world with a picture of how valuable that support has been."

The International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF) has unveiled its completely revised website at www.iwrf.com. The new website features a dynamic look with plenty of images and videos to display the best features of the exciting sport of Wheelchair Rugby.

The website is designed to be the first stop for up-to-date news and information about Wheelchair Rugby, and includes a video library, competition calendar and media guide. New to the website is an extensive development section, with instructional videos on the sport and its rules, designed to be a key part of the IWRF’s work to grow and support the Wheelchair Rugby family.

The new website was developed with the assistance of the International Rugby Board through their sport partnership with IWRF. “IRB has provided us with great support behind the scenes for the past three years,” said IWRF President John Bishop. “Our new website will provide our members with a fantastic new resource, and the world with a picture of how valuable that support has been.”

The new IWRF website arrives less than a month before the London Prepares Wheelchair Rugby Test event, in advance of September’s London 2012 Paralympic Games, where Wheelchair Rugby is one of the most popular sports.

“We hope that our members, supporters, and those who don’t yet know our sport will rely on iwrf.com to be their source of information about Wheelchair Rugby before, during, and after the Games,” said Bishop.
