Site Visit for IPC Shooting European Championships

From 26 to 27 January, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) conducted a site inspection visit to the city of Wroclaw, Poland, from where a bid application for the 2009 IPC Shooting European Championships has been received.

IPC Shooting Sport Manager Athena Charitaki went to Poland to meet with members from the local bid authority to discuss the bid documents, give constructive feedback, answer questions, and to discuss the further steps that need to be taken to host successful European Championships.

During two days of meetings, Ms. Charitaki also visited the competition venue and the proposed accommodation sites.

The proposed dates for the 2009 IPC Shooting European Championships are 4-11 July 2009.
