The Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee has that it has selected Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) Corporation to become the first official Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner.

 

The Tokyo 2020 Marketing Programme is welcoming its first partner only a year after the establishment of the organising committee, and the addition of NTT as the organising committee’s official Telecommunications Services partner will further boost Tokyo 2020’s ability to deliver a successful Games.

 

Welcoming the appointment, Tokyo 2020 President Yoshiro Mori said: “I am delighted to announce that we have concluded a contract with the NTT Group, and it is a great pleasure to welcome the group as Tokyo 2020’s very first Gold Partner.

 

“We are looking forward immensely to working together with NTT to deliver a magnificent stage where athletes from across the world can come together to compete to the peak of their abilities. NTT has a long and distinguished history of connecting people across the length and breadth of Japan, and it is my earnest wish that we will be able to work together to further strengthen bonds between people and ensure that we deliver a successful Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020.”
