·Czech Republic has claimed 122 medals at the Paralympic Summer Games: G40-S39-B43.

·Athens 2004 were Czech Republic's most successful Paralympic Games to date, winning 16 gold medals (S8-B7).

·The NPC made its debut at the Atlanta 1996 Paralympic Games.

·Czech Republic is in 32nd place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·The NPC has been most successful in athletics, claiming 15 gold, 19 silver and 15 bronze medals.

·Cyclist Jirí Ježek is Czech Republic's most successful Paralympian in individual events: G6-S4.

·Ježek won a gold medal at each of the last four Paralympic Games in cycling. He won Czech Republic's only gold at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

·Swimming is the only sport Czech women (15) have bagged more medals in than Czech men (12).

·David Drahonínský is on the IPC archery ones-to-watch list for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. He won a gold medal at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games and a silver medal four years ago in London.
