·DR Congo has yet to claim a medal the Paralympic Summer Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

·The only athletes to participate in London representing DR Congo were Levy Kitambala Kizito and Dedeline Mibamba Kimbata. Kizito finished 16th in both men's discus throw F57/58 and men's javelin throw F57/58 whereas Kimbata came in 17th in women's discus throw F57/58 and 13th in women's 100m T54.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Democratic Republic Congo, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
