·Kazakhstan has yet to claim a medal at the Paralympic Summer Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the Atlanta 1996 Paralympic Games.

·Zulfiya Gabidullina won two medals at the 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow - bronze in both women's 50m freestyle S4 and 100m freestyle S3.

·Gabidullina claimed the European title in both these events at the 2016 IPC Swimming European Open Championships in Funchal.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Kazakhstan, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
