FYR Macedonia at the Rio 2016 Paralympics

·FYR Macedonia has claimed two medals at the Paralympic Games: G1-S1, both in shooting.

·Their only gold medal came at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, making it their most successful Paralympic Games to date.

·The NPC made its debut at the Atlanta 1996 Paralympic Games.

·FYR Macedonia is in 89th place on the Summer Games' all-time medal table.

·Olivera Nakovska-Bikova won the women's 10m air pistol SH1 (shooting) in London.

·Nakovska-Bikova bagged three medals at the World Championships - silver in 2006 and bronze in 2010 and 2014 (all in 10m air pistol SH1).

·Vanco Karanfilov claimed Macedonia's only other medal at the Paralympic Games - silver in men's air pistol SH1.

·There is no rights holding broadcaster in Macedonia, but the Paralympic Games can be watched live via the IPC’s website at www.paralympic.org.
